Agra CEAS Consulting is a joint venture between Imperial College London (University of London) and Agra Informa ltd (an informa business), and was established at the Bureau Européen de Recherches in Brussels in 1973 and at Imperial College London’s Centre for European Agricultural Studies in Wye in 1986. We have now been providing specialist advice and analysis for companies and institutions in the fields of agriculture, food and drink, rural development, environment and trade for over thirty years.

Our unique shareholding structure and the location of our offices provide us with a powerful combination of Agra CEAS Consulting itself, with its core group of professional consultants and dedicated support staff, and three active links into the:

Academic resources of Imperial College London. Imperial College London’s Wye Campus is home to its centre of excellence for science, management and economics relating to food, agriculture and the rural environment. The College has an international reputation for its degree and higher degree courses and for its research in agriculture, agricultural economics, rural development, horticulture (science, economics, third world development), environmental studies and food marketing.
Commercial strengths of Agra Informa and informa. Agra Informa provides high value business information on food, agriculture, soft commodities, fisheries and seafood. Established in 1963, Agra Informa publishes over 50 separate publications and organises regular high level conferences, exhibitions and seminars world-wide. Its many publications include Agra Europe, AgraFood East Europe, Rural Europe, Foodnews, Dairy Markets, World Ethanol & Biofuels Report, Livestock and Meat and International Sugar and Sweetener report.
EU policy-making environment through our Brussels operation situated close to the European Institutions.

These unique linkages enhance our ability to provide specialist advice and analysis by providing us with an approach that combines our in-depth knowledge and experience that we have acquired since the company was formed over thirty years, with the rigour of an academic establishment operating within a commercial environment.
